Why I Became
a Therapist

In 2022, I quit my government job and followed the call of God to start my own practice offering faith based integration. I would have never imagined that He would use me. But He Qualifies the Called.

I named my practice after my grandmother, Olive, who meant the world to me. I pray that this practice honors her legacy, as well as the Dove, which in the Bible signifies peace and the Holy Spirit.

We are all on a journey, and I do not take this practice or what I refer to as a ministry lightly.

My Therapeutic
Approach

My approach is person centered, solution focused and trauma informed using evidenced based practices that are research proven.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

We'll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop practical strategies to shift unhelpful patterns.

Trauma-Informed Care

I understand that trauma lives in the body and the nervous system, not just the mind. Our work will honor your pace and prioritize your sense of safety above all else.

Mindfulness-Based Techniques

I'll introduce grounding and mindfulness practices to help you stay present, manage overwhelming emotions, and reconnect with your body.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

CPT is designed for clients diagnosed with PTSD to help identity "stuck points" and transform negative thoughts keeping you mentally stuck.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

For clients dealing with trauma and PTSD, EMDR can be a powerful tool for processing painful memories and reducing their emotional charge.
